There's a lot to be said for washing your hands!

True, but its not MY hands that worry me.. its those highly paid, caring, and of course, hygienic crew members that worry me.

And for a giggle..

Sure wish there was something relevant to the topic to discuss... oh well...

Y'all worry too much on this page. We got this. Folks will have a place to reunite their families and continue their traditions at a great new show at the park in early April. Keep the faith, more info to come.

Well, we are not worrying so much. I guess that is progress.

I've finally given up hope that something similar pops up that 1st weekend in April. Too hard to believe that anything worthwhile is just gonna be sprung on us 75 days out. Add to that the news that even the last Hula had problems paying the bills, ... it's clearly not a simple production.

Just hope someone steps in to start a similar tradition in the near future.

I guess worry has been replaced by resignation. It certainly has, for me. :|

FWIW... paulthewolf's post is now over three months old (posted 11/15/2018). Hindsight being 20/20 and all, it turns out that peoples' concerns about April, were justified. Paul's dismissivness was not.

Personally, I'm a bit tired of event producers treating us patrons like mushrooms, keeping us in the dark and (occasionally) feeding us fertilizer. A fair number of us patrons have been going to shows and festivals for decades. We know when things smell funny. And we know when we're not being treated with at least a modicum of respect.

Nobody ever asks the fest patron who bails on this or that fest, why they stopped going to it. It might be enlightening, or even helpful, for a producer to know such things.
:!:

But WTF do I know... I only spend nearly 20% of my household income on these things annually.

Ditto. A silly music festival shouldn't trigger such a rollercoaster of emotions in an old man, but ... I guess I'm an addict of sorts.
