Rumors related to Wanee, especially here on the board??? I am shocked. I would never have expected such a thing. I mean look how many years has Clapton showed up at Wanee after it was discussed here.

@ Nick - I thought this was the 'rumor' you started...

Welcome to the forum, aap516. Where does your username come from?

Yes, that was it. See, I'm so full of S#!t I don't even remember my own shenanigans. So why no Wanee date's yet? Stay tuned.

Even if Wanee is happening it’s not going to be the same week as last year, Tipper’s manager has confirmed they have the 19-21st booked

Hmmm. Scared off by Sweetwater 420 perhaps? I’m not sure that’s huge cause for concern, as Wanee has been non-4/20 weekends in the past, but I will say there’s starting to be some smoke (so many puns intended) and you know what they say about situations where there’s smoke.

I think they have avoided Easter Weekend in the past, correct? I suspect 420 Fest wouldn't go on Easter either.

They've gotta be working together on dates. Too much of a coincidence that both are not on the calendar yet. I'm sure SoS would like to start banking some deposits.

I was thinking it would be more likely that Wanee was waiting to hear about 420 to limit ticket competition. Although perhaps you are right. I’ve always thought it was strange how Wanee and 420 seemed to play so nice whereas other fests seem to be huge competitors and pretty cut throat with one another.

I bet LN has tried to buy 420 on many occasions. They do play WAAYYY to nice for it be a coincidence. Livenation could have tanked 420 easily.

An urban festival versus a camping festival. That's a no-brainer for most of us here on the forum (and you may rightfully give me s#%t for NOT being on for a while).

I did hear the Tipper thing.

I'm afraid it doesn't look good, but I am a cock-eyed optimist, so I will hang on to hope.

It's just such a shame that LN invested heavily in Peach while divesting itself from Wanee.
