Looks like some nasty weather Wed & part of Thursday then smooth sailing, if we don't drown.

The friends we are going with were at the Bourbon & Beyond mud fest a couple weeks ago. They’re still waterlogged from that.

Yup, I think loss of power is gonna be the decider. The picture link posted above shows winds only about 50mph at the SOSMP. And it's a fast mover, so hopefully flooding won't be an issue. But if the park loses power, that's a problem.

The dance tent is another problem... tents don't do well in high winds... :|

I was there for the Suwanee Tsunami at SpringFest in ?2006 was it? Twelve inches of rain in three hours on Friday morning. Three feet of water at the amph, five feet of water in the meadow... trees dropped all over the place from the tornado that went by. The fest continued, in a truncated way... but it went on. Those park folks are pretty dang amazing. I'm not sure the park ever lost power though.

Fingers crossed. :)

It looks like the most impact will be west of SOSMP (Hold on Tight Rivernole). If it stays on this track I don't see hurricane damage to the park. What I do see being an issue is the logistics of it all. You will have bands trying to travel through it after it moves through. People trying to travel through it all day thursday. Usually these things are insured, and I can see them pulling the plug ahead of time because of that.

How do you prepare for you don't know....
past experience?
media propaganda?
real time fear?
prayer?
Dems or Repubs?

Good luck at the park....wish I was there instead of here....
