Count me in for more female singers at Wanee, not for political diversity's sake but for musical diversity's sake. Sharon Jones, Grace Potter, Tara Nevis (of Donna The Buffalo) playing with BK3, Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek, Joan Osborne with Trigger Hippy, obviously Susan Tedeschi, and others I can't recall at the moment brought their talent to Wanee and made it better. I enjoy variety at a festival & these ladies supplied it.

A few that would have been good for Wanee 2018:

Tierinii Jackson of Southern Avenue https://www.facebook.com/SouthernAvenueBand/

Nicki Bluhm (could show up with Phil as she plays with them often) http://www.nickibluhm.com/

Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds https://www.sistersparrow.com/

Not a singer, but how about Dani Jaye & Come Back Alice for Wednesday Happy Hour http://www.comebackalice.com/

I'll add Carolyn Wonderland to the list. Talk about someone who ROCKS!! She does it better than any of 'em!
