Well... we're all getting old and grumpy... I work mightily to keep my annoyance list short, cuz if you only focus on what isn't ideal, you'll be sulking the whole four days.

For me, festivals are a constant process of annoyance workarounds :D

I'd augment that thread to festival stories...

Craziest thing ever witnessed?

Best thing ever happened to you?

etc.

Fake News! Only old people and blind people talk on the phone. The Present and Future will just be people looking down and taking pictures for Snap-o-Gram. If that pisses you off then you have seriously gone all out "Get off my Lawn" on us.

Yep, just got Tix today.... figured G.A.S.R.O.would be available and was. But what I really got was G.A.S.R.O. Colonade. Who knew there was such a thing... can't wait to show my "ticket" to enter the area! I also got the TTB newsletter saying they are playing the Sweetwater 420 in Atlanta April 20-22. (there website did not list it yet) . Does anyone know if they are playing Sunday there, cuz it's only 4 hrs from Live Oak!May be worth the trip?

If you are heading to Boca today, you will be amply rewarded. Seven superb performances yesterday in St. Pete.

TTB = stunning, as always. Brilliant "Love Having You Around" opener.

Hot Tuna = the usual magic. 50+ years at it, and these boys refuse to slow down.

Mike Gordon = great set. Stripped-down quintet with Robert Walter on keys.

Galactic = really solid set with Miss Erica Falls

MMW = best set of the day, for me. Chris Wood was ridiculous on double bass.

Foundation of Funk = great raw set with Kraz, Medeski joining Zigaboo and George

The Suffers = great opening set. Pam is great

ALSO, you might actually GET some sunshine. We sure as hell didn't!

Holy crap it was cold. MMW was my favorite as well.

Foundation of Funk jammed... 60 degrees when TTB ended the show “stoned”. You know “Everbody Must Get Stoned”

60 degrees in what number base. Certainly not decimal.
