 Re: 2017 Wanee thoughts...
Was another grate week + in the woods with old friends and new acquaintances at the Hippiest place on Earth. Happy to see the kids (Marcus King, Ben Sparaco et al.) pick up the torch of great music and run like hell with it. Special thanks to my camp mates @ 1 Way Out, Waz County and Pound Town. Sorry that most of you missed Big Andy and Pam's wedding @ Pound Town, it was epic!

in dso's second set for just a short moment there was feedback of distorted sound. just wonder if this was planned to copy the cornell dead show?

I just got back from my Wanee ~ Florida adventure
Having not been in 5 years I now realize that was way too long to stay away. Was wonderful connecting with old friends and meeting many new ones. As Gregg say's

 Re: 2017 Wanee thoughts...
Every year we've arrived right at 8 on Thursday morning. Wish we could get there sooner, but work and kids and all that prevents us. We always going to the same area, out in the big fields in generator parking. Every year prior to this one there have been wide open spaces to pick from and certainly had your choice of spots. We got there this year and it was a totally different story. It was packed back there. Don't know what it was this year. Maybe an indication that there were more people? Or maybe everyone made it there for Wanee Wednesday. Whatever the case, it was definitely a noticeable change.

To me, it seemed like it was a lower turnout than years past. Surprised to hear the comments about it being large
