 Re: One Hit Wonders
He actually had a few other hits, such as "The Flying Saucers," but that was back when the billboard Hot 100 was on papyrus.

 Re: One Hit Wonders
Here are a few -- from 1963. I was 12, first transistor radio, attempted to make it an ear bud (I was apparently ahead of my time).
Surfin' Bird -- the Trashmen Denise -- Randy & the Rainbows Hippy Hippy Shake -- the Swinging Blue Jeans Hey Little Cobra -- the Ripchords Easier Said Than Done -- the Essex (flip side: Are You going My Way?) What Kind of Fool -- the Tams If You Wanna Be Happy -- Jimmy Soul Sally, Go 'Round the Roses -- the Jaynetts
So why is it that I forget to take my medicine or pick something up at the store, but I can still sing the lyrics to every one of these songs (and, boy, did I EVER have a crush on a Denise!)?

 Re: One Hit Wonders
Well, I neglected to reply.
We were awash in one-hit wonders back in the day!
