Yuppppp....there were more people staggering around aimlessly and more wooks wandering into camps. The venues really seemed to pack in more peeps. Furthur and ABB were really crowded.

16K in 2012. 20K when Widespread played last-that was their biggest crowd ever.

Don't want to reveal sources but my numbers are correct. Take it for what it is worth but there seems to be some financial logic in getting WSP again.

Not to doubt your sources, but the eye ball test alone (or more specifically the cramped camping test) says there is no way there were more people there in 2011 than 2012. Granted a number of people left after Panic in 2011, and a number of people came after those people left (it was the extra day of the festival year), but still. Im no mathematician but 16k last year seems a bit low, and 4k less people last year than 2011 seems near impossible.

I think 2012 was a lot bigger than 2011. Seemed to be more people everywhere you went.....from the campsites to the food stations to the music arenas. I say 2012 was larger.

I didn't want to argue with jack but I agree with you guys. Way more people than 16-20k. I spoke to a guy who worked there in 2011 and he stated 23-24k. Anyway, since the line up was announced, more or less people this year?

say 3,000 more in 2012 than 2011. i like the lineup but have heard friends grumble today.
