It's the roots of all we listen to. We need to pay our respect! Some of the acts from the "Blues Cruises" would be great. Maybe book some of your artists from here... http://www.musicmaker.org/Look who's on the advisory board... http://www.musicmaker.org/about-us/music-maker-board/B.B. Re: JamesLN Wanee Direction
I'm pretty much for whatever. Loved the Panic years just as much as last years Furthur and previous years 2 nights of Mule. I would also add that each year is structured pretty well with a good mix for music fans of all types which allows us all to go back to camp and relax a little bit during the day if we wanted to. As much as I would love to put together the lineup and schedule (as we all would), I know that my ass would be dragging every day cause I would have bands I loved from sunup to sundown. But I do agree with more blues. It's the staple that most of these bands draw their influence from and it's evident in their music. Buddy Guy is the man, but add others like Jonny Lang, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton and the like. Barring any extreme musical change, I'm gonna be at Wanee every year until they stop having it or I kick the bucket. Whichever comes first.
