Lester Bangs's article about Lou Reed with the title: "Wanted: Lou Reed. Dead or alive. What's the difference?"
Best letter to the editor ever: "Is it true that Jim Dandy stuffs?" (for fans of the Black Oak Arkansas lead singer with the painted-on pants)
And recurrent references in the letters column to the Stooges' song "Fun House" from the album of the same name.
