Southern_Style wrote: 1st I would like to say hello to everyone. This board is sweet. I'm supper pumped Last year was my first time, but we did not arrive untill like 3am friday morning (I hate my job), and came with a bunch of beer, a shity last minute tent and a deep rooted desire to rage, This year we are going to come for the whole festival, and with proper equipment. Which brings me to my question:
Noob question: Last year it seemed that it is bygc (Bring your own golf cart) I have a cart and a fried that is an Electrical Engineer and he is dying to "pimp my cart" what are the rules associated with them? Do I need to buy a liability policy? Register pre-event? Any advice would be great. Also my my bad if this is A&A somewhere else on the board. I looked around and did not see it addressed. Welcome to the forum, we are a bunch of good loving Nuts to say the least! Some of us have just recently been doing research into this ourselves... it apprears if you bring your own golf cart to the festival that you Must have Liability insurance on it..in addition to this, the charge a $200 fee for a Golfcart pass... thats what we have found so far.... i hope that helps, and feel free to ask anything ya like, we all are always more than happy to help someones experience along!! its what we do help each other!

Is it just me....but do you think it is a little excessive paying $200 for 4 days bringing your own cart? We checked and I think they wanted like $400 for use of theirs? (of course they rent out....so it is not excessive to some )

Yeah 200 is a little steep, but having a cart seems to be totaly worth it. Also one tricked out with lights and bad ass speakers. People rocking out on their carts @ all times of the day is what made me want to bring one
