City (Counrty) from where you are coming from to Live Oak (in miles) must be provided to determine the winner.

Sign up like this:

marky, Winter Springs, FL = 250 miles

:D

Heck, now here's a contest I actually have a chance at!

Tony, Chico, CA = 2803 miles per google maps

Designed specifically with you in mind.. I like your style. Just hope that guy from Europe doesn't pop in. :o

eh, my prize is just being at Wanee! It's all I really need. But if someone comes from Europe, I'll get them a beer.

Really? There's got to be someone from Seattle or Portland. No Alaskan contingent?

Oh, I couldn't imagine driving from California. Driving from Albany is questionable too but considering you're camping and probably bringing a bunch of fun stuff, it's the best option. How is the difference in cost between flying and driving? I guess airfare from NY is probably about $200 or $300 a person round trip. Then you'd need a ride or a rental car.

Yeah, OK, just in typing that out I realize driving is more easy but slightly more time consuming. Should be a great road trip with lot of time for music on the ride.

I priced that out last year as I was coming alone. I ended up flying into Tampa ($207) Ticket ($162x2) I bought my buddies tic and he supplied all the camping gear, food, beer, crown, smoke and the ride up from Tampa and back to the airport on Sunday. All I had to do was bring my ass  Was a great deal seeing he was a rookie and now he is hooked. DRIVING it alone would have been more expensive. Not to mention I get tired driving by myself and might have falling asleep at the wheel and never made it there. This year with my GF going (and she is no rookie went in 05 and 06) it will be easyer sharing the driving vs. 2 plane tics car rental and all. I do have alot of camping gear myself which I like to use because I know what I have.

there should be a driving to wanee and a flying to wanee category.

driving over 1,000 miles for 3 days and then driving all the way back is something a lot of people just can't handle
