Re: Customer Service at Its Finest
I have no idea how this conversation turned into such, it was more just for laughs.
For the record, I don't even own a TV - so that has no bearing on my life.

That was hilarious, thanks for sharing. And it does add to the hilarity if you read it aloud with the typical Indian tech support dude accent. Have you guys seen this?: http://www.illwillpress.com/tech.htmlsad to say that I've had tech support calls that make this guy sound like a genius So, Verizon won't let you forward ports? wtf? there's gotta be a hack to circumvent that

Re: Customer Service at Its Finest
These type of transactions are funny and infuriating at the same time . Since it's somewhat related to the topic ( albeit on the opposite end of the spectrum ) , I'd like to plug Elevate .
Their customer service folks truly provide customer service ! I had trouble ordering my Bear Creek ticket online . I went to their website , and lo and behold , found a phone number CONSPICUOUSLY located on the main page . When I called the number , a real person answered ... in Arizona ! The guy helped me overcome the hurdle and made special arrangements for me to pick up my pass at will call . When the day came and I got to the tickey window , the guy I spoke with in Arizona handed me my ticket in Florida . It was nice to be able to personally thank him and shake his hand .
I know this isn't the most captivating of stories . But this day in age , it's refreshing to know there are some companies that are truly listening to you on the other end of the telephone line , and aren't reading pre-fab answers off of a script .

amen to that. don't get me started... I deal with airlines, car rental companies and hotel reservationists all day. If you ask them for customer service, they ask you what it is.

I have been considering ordering my Wanee tickets threw Elevate. I actually contacted them today, and yes a real person answered. I wonder if we spoke to the same person? It is good to find someone who had a good experience with them. Lat night I had a nightmare that my "print at home" tickets did not work at Wanee!!! It was awful! I woke up in a cold sweat, but that may have been the Stella. I know this isn't the most captivating of stories .
