Ben Sparaco is a young guitarist, singer, and songwriter living in Nashville, TN with a sound that combines energetic and soulful guitar playing with a unique blend of folk, jazz, rock, and soul music. At only 19 years old he has begun to make a name for himself around the country playing his original music as well as touring with other acts as a lead guitarist.
At the young age of 11, Ben began playing bars around his hometown in Broward County, Florida. In the eight years and hundreds of shows since, he has had opportunities to appear on stage alongside members of The Allman Brothers Band, Dead and Company, Warren Haynes Band, Dizzy Gillespie Band, North Mississippi Allstars, and many more. Since 2015, Ben has been leading his own band though original music at clubs and festivals across the country. Citing the Allman Brothers Band, John Coltrane, and Bob Dylan as his main influences, Sparaco’s music draws from the traditions of southern rock, jazz, and folk music to create something unique and original.
His debut album “Wooden” was released on January 13th, 2017. Produced by Ross Holmes (Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers, Warren Haynes, Mumford and Sons), the record highlights Ben’s songwriting accompanied by a bluegrass-inspired string sound, thanks to some of some of Nashville’s finest session musicians. The album features a guest appearance by guitarist Luther Dickinson.
